People looked to the planets and stars to guide them in harvesting herbs, to make potions, place protective spells, and improve their life. Magic was real and it was applicable. Then, these practices went underground for hundreds of years. We are now "re-membering" our vital connection to the universe, and reopening the book on astrological magic. We are ready to reclaim the power that was taken from us long ago.

Join Kristen Bala, astrologer, for an afternoon at The Deep End indoor pool in Harvard, MA. Learn to work with magic and astrology to find practical ways to make an impact on your life. No previous astrology experience is necessary.

  1. A journal and pen

  3. You may bring a personal item for the altar such as crystal, piece of jewelry, something from nature, etc. (you will take this home)

Meet your guide

Kristen is the founder of the Deep End, a holistic community that started around an indoor pool in Harvard, MA almost a decade ago. She has a life-long knowledge and passion for astrology and offers readings and workshops for individuals, schools and organizations. Kristen is dedicated to helping clients navigate their lives with clarity, confidence and direction.

Kristen has studied with several leading astrologers and graduated with honors from the Rebecca Gordon Astrology School. She has a background in writing and communications and enjoys using that skillset in her astrology blogs and helping her community. Kristen is an active member of the National Council for Geocosmic Research (Boston Chapter) and the American Federation of Astrologers.
