Join us at The Deep End indoor pool for a truly immersive experience the “sound bath of all sound baths,” with sound therapist Kathleen Hubbard, sound therapist and astrologer Kristen Bala.
The summer solstice has been one of the most widely celebrated seasonal turning points in history. Long before modern holidays, it marked a powerful moment: the peak of light, fertility, and life, followed by the subtle return toward darkness.
Under a crescent moon in Virgo, we’ll come together to acknowledge this seasonal shift. Kristen will lead a solstice-inspired craft and discuss the astrology of 2026.
Afterward, sink into the soothing warmth of the 90°+ pool for a transcendent sound bath featuring crystal singing bowls, gongs, tuning forks, shakers, and ocean chimes.
We will have three Reiki energy-workers who will be working on guests during the event. There will be a cozy fire and guests will be provided with flotation support such as hammock floats and noodles.
A few light snacks will be provided.
What to bring/wear:
Swimsuit, towel and change of clothes if you choose to float
Something for the solstice altar if you like: red/orange/yellow item or flowers, something sparkly, (you will take this home)
Signed waiver (e-mailed to you in advance & copies available at arrival)

Meet Your Instructors
Kathleen Hubbard
Kathleen is a Sound Therapist, Reiki Master Teacher and Registered Nurse. She is the founder of Jivana Holistic Nursing Service, which offers energy healing services and classes for adults and children. She specializes in Himalayan bowls, tuning forks and gongs and is passionate about the profound effect of sound during a healing session. She leads sound bath events, holistic workshops and retreats throughout New England and offers Reiki 1, 2 and Master level instruction and attunements. Service offerings include Pranashakthi Mahavidya, Medical Qi Gong, Meditation and Mindfulness, and EFT & TFT Tapping.
Kristen Bala
Kristen is an Astrologer and Founder of The Deep End. She came into astrology as a teenager, when her mother, an astrologer and herbalist, taught her the language of the stars and the two of them spent countless hours doing natal charts together. Over the years, it has become Kristen's journey to help others understand astrology in a way that's easy and accessible. She studied with several leading astrologers including Rebecca Gordon, Judith Hill and Sajah Popham. She is a Holy Fire Reiki Master, Pranic Healer, and her offerings at the pool incorporate astrology, magic and water healing.
